FrederickDavies
Dear DCBSuperfly, You might want to add this info on the bug report I created too: http://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/535 FD I am running 1.1.1 and I'm still having this error. I hope this workaround will not only be useful, but maybe shed light on why it's happening: close MO and all related stuffnavigate to the Mod Organizer 'Mods' foldercreate a folder with the intended mod name (I'm following tutorials so I made 'Testquest')in that folder, make a new file (right click and make anything, text file for example) and then rename that file to 'Testquest.esp'load MO and check the new mod 'Testquest' so the CK will include it.Now your new (blank) esp should show up in the File -> Data list and you can set it as the active fileI confirmed that the File -> Save will write your changes to the new .esp. I guess this means the virtual file system doesn't play nice with the save dialogue's ability to make new files?
DCBSupafly
Thanks FD, hadn't seen that report, but it looks like you described the same behavior, no? If I put a file manually in the overwrite folder and then start the Creation Kit from Mod Organizer, I can open it and edit it; it is new files that I cannot create. FrederickDavies
DCBSupafly, Yes, I suppose so. FD Thanks FD, hadn't seen that report, but it looks like you described the same behavior, no? DCBSupafly
Just now had this problem again. Still 1.1.1 and my workaround didn't work. The blank mod didn't show up in the data dialogue in the CK. I was still able to save by selecting File -> Save and choosing the mod there. Then I went back to Data and the mod showed up. Strange, but it still works.
