t3hf4ll0ut
With New Vegas set for release next year, I wonder if there will be any more Fallouts and if New Vegas is as easily modable as Fallout 3. What do you guys think?
evilneko
Given that New Vegas will apparently use the same engine (ugh) I'd say it'll definitely be just as moddable.
AEntreriX
^ what's wrong with the Fallout 3's Engine? It works and looks great!
dawnprawfet
I realy would not be able to say because i havent seen much about new vegas
t3hf4ll0ut
The engine in Fallout 3 is a bit outdated. That's all I will say. But that's a good thing, otherwise only the badest of the bad would be able to mod it.
gsmanners
Using Gamebryo for all the lighting and particle effects they use in this game is a bit like trying to race a NASCAR event in a beat up old pickup truck. It looks nice, but not nearly as nice as say RAGE or Unreal.
Gishank
Although i've only just heard about this New Vegas business i personally can say i dislike the idea quite alot. I have the odd feeling that they're being pressured to make things too quickly to get money.
ITOS
The engine in Fallout 3 is a bit outdated. This and:I have the odd feeling that they're being pressured to make things too quickly to get money. It's going to take something big to get me to buy a new game. And maybe an upgrade of their technology.
evilneko
That's why there are *ahem* various ways to try before you buy. ;)
