your perceptions of life---- life not religion

I know at least one person read my first post here, i was on tablets to get rid of back ache and i was talking about things i wouldnt even tell my shrink.

Anyway the real question was.

What would you fear more living for ever are dying for ever.

purly hypothetical.

And could you tell me how you feel about life if you dont mind, your perception on living and what your environment does to you.

I thought of a Mad or stupid idea that we should cleanse life on the universe especially the low lifes first such as insects and humans the last to destroy.

So fine, I'll reply to his argument, since this is the debate section, not just dismiss him with a personal attack.

And yet despite your dislike of life, you seem to be quite alive right now. I wonder why that could be? Could your fascination with death be just an attempt to look cool, and the real you is afraid of it? If you were serious about this belief, and not just trying to impress people, you'd be dead.

 

You might think this makes you look cool and tough, but it doesn't. It just makes you look like a whiny kid. I find it very hard to believe that you are honestly in so much pain that death is better than life. Especially since you're posting on an online forum (and therefore have access to electricity, money for a computer, etc) and not starving to death in some third-world hell.

Well, that's an interesting belief... too bad you didn't support it with any evidence. The odds are against you, you know. Most religions say suicide sends you straight to hell, and the atheists say you just rot in a hole in the ground.

 

So I'd avoid giving out stupid advice like that, you might encourage someone to actually kill themselves.

What a wonderful idea... lets destroy all life, genocide on a massive scale. Why? Because it sounds cool. Individual suicide is so 20th-century-whining, so lets take the whole universe with us!

 

And of course you ignore the minor detail that your "plan" would lead to unbelievable human suffering as you destroyed the life we depend on. Death by starvation for billions of people... how merciful of you.
