There is simply no "one size fits all" answer when dealing with mods. You'd be better off posting the query in the "Mod Troubleshooting" forum of the particular game. Second of all, in the future, if you need to download manually then simply use the "Add mod from file" option from within NMM itself. It will add the mod as though you downloaded it from within NMM. bben46 Posted February 6, 2014 Share Posted February 6, 2014 When you manually download - Windows, not NMM determines where the mod gets downloaded to. The default is C:\users\Your_user_name\downloads. This can be changed to anything you want in the windows settings - or most browsers allow you to decide to either use the default, create your own default or give you the option of where to download for each download when you download it.
