Should I worry about this?

I first knew something was up when five times in a row when I loaded Oblivion, and hit escape to skip the intro it CTD'd. What got me, was that I had JUST finished playing and had made zero changes to my mod list.

After rebuilding my bashed patch, BOSSing my load order again (with no change) I loaded the game again, waited a few seconds to hot escape instead of as soon as I hear the music, and the game loaded fine. So I found that this CTD happens everytime I hit escape too soon when I launch the game.

My theory is that my crash preventer needs to load to prevent the crash, and I verified when I looked at my weOCPS.log. A few examples of this crash:

Fri Jul 17 15:15:26 2009 OCPS build 2009-03-28 prevented crash at offset 0x000cee0b (eip: 0x004cee0b, sub_4CED70). Link to 0x1b0aaac8 is faulty (vtbl: 0x1b0a9760)!

Fri Jul 17 15:16:36 2009 OCPS build 2009-03-28 prevented crash at offset 0x000cee0b (eip: 0x004cee0b, sub_4CED70). Link to 0x1b0aabe0 is faulty (vtbl: 0x1b0a9878)!

Question is; is this a crash I should address, or can I safely ignore this, as it is prevented and does not SEEM to influence anything other than loading the game up?

As always, thanks for any and all feedback,

Worry ? I think is more annoying than worrying. Well, but UNLESS you do encounter a problem, that's not matter. But if you do encounter a problem (like corrupt savegame or something), then you must fix it (if you know how).

But as long it doesn't cause problems, just enjoy playing the game !

Heh, thanks. I needed to hear that. Really not annoying though. I have to *try* to cause it to crash before the crash preventer catches it, so as long as I can wait less than three seconds to hit escape I will never see it.
