Replacing the body for only one race?

Is it possible to replace the body for only one race instead of all of them? The meshes I mean.

I don't see an option for that in the construction set, but. I thought maybe someone here would know how if there is a way.

Edit: Naymind! I think I got it. I'll just edit the player in CS using a copy of the esp for the race and then after I make a character I'll switch back to the original esp.

Mm. I was afraid of that lol.

See. My problem is that the complexion is messing up the color of my character's skin, but most noticeably when it's a certain race and only when it's a female. I'm able to make them show up properly in CS (I made an npc with that race to see if I was right about it being something to do with the sliders after I'd double-triple checked that I did have the textures in the right place and everything), so I know it's not that it's a problem with the texture.

It looks absolutely horrible. They're meant to be coal black...and the males are, but the females always look splotchy and bluish.

I've tried resetting the face and it still doesn't show up the way the males do. So. I was just gonna make two different versions of the race and make one only female and the other only male.

if that's not good enough, you can ask the makers of the Alien Xenomorph Race How they did it

My mod doesn't actually use alternative body-meshes. The meshes are basically put on like armor, just via scripting. They have extremely high durability, and the scripting automatically repairs the suit and (re-)equips it. If you were to make custom clothing for such a workaround, it could work out. But it would mean extremely much work (all the meshes, plus rather cpu-heavy scripting to manage all of it). It's not a very elegant solution, and it basically only works for the aliens, because they're not supposed to wear anything else. But I also don't really see another way. Sorry.
