mirked Posted July 18, 2009 Share Posted July 18, 2009 So I was running to the Molag Bal shrine when I ran into a pack of rapid dogs and wolfs. After I killed them all a message popped up saying 'The Ent has died and the whole world is torn Asunder.' I'm not sure if this is from a mod or not, but what does it mean? I tried googling it but no luck. Now I don't think one of the wolves was the Ent since what I know of ents is that they are treelike creatures, but I want to know what this ent is and where it is, so I can kill it myself from a previous save and check it out. Means that have a suspicion of that having something to do with it, not the list of all your mods. (Example, armor mods can't do those things, so don't list them here, just that looks suspicious). A full mod list would be helpful wink.gif That's too complicated, why do you think that jojjo's Lich King Armor or other unsuspicious mods had anything to do with that. A problem usually caused by mod conflict and load order problem, but instead, he encounter a mystery, he encounter something I believed scripted, because it happens after a wolf being killed, not some random things like a horse falling from the sky. That MUST came from a mod, but not from a mod's problem. If a quest cannot be completed, that's a problem. But this is not, the topic starter just want to know why that happened. That's why I suggest to give the list of non suspicious mods. I didn't say all armor mods are wrong, because some have quests. I just say anything that looks suspicous (like quests mods) If it is a problem, it may comes from the mod itself. That's my opinion, hopes the problem solved. I think it was supposed to make it start raining in a kind of sympathy for the death of one of these tree creatures, but I never noticed it raining. I've seen it many times, and it'll often happen out of your sight, because in MMM creatures may attack other creatures, instead of always ganging up on you. I thought it might have been the only one and I missed it. Any chance you know an area they have a good chance of spawning in? I want see if I can run into one see what it looks like. Here's what I found::: Forest Ent -- Giant, slow moving Ents of the forest. these are bad guys -- As with Spriggans in MMM if you kill one there's a 50% chance of triggering a storm. They also drop, true to their nature, various rare plant based ingredients. :: Twisted Ent -- Enemies of the Forest Ents, these are the bad guys. Perverted from nature by arcane forces, if see one you better hope you have backup. And yes, the two are mortal enemies, and will fight if they meet.
