AncientSpaceAeon
While I have nothing against this endorsement system in theory, some things about it just annoy me. The 3 hour limit is horribleI'm quite sick (no offense or anything, I've got a reason) about complaints about 3 hour limit. If you somehow forgot, you can always look at the "Downloads/Rating History". That way you could never forgot to rate a file. And the thumbs up and down isn't that good. Dark0ne says that most of the people rate 10 or 1. Now, it's still the same, thumbs up is 10 and thumbs down is 1. What's the difference at that, now this is a popularity contest. Isn't it better to get "Thumb up" than rating 9.8.7 or even 6? With this you usually don't get bad rating actually you get better. And also you complained when the ratings were 1 or 10 and you complain now with endoresements..

So modders who recieved them just got the feeling of their mod getting more popular, not good. The rating reminder isn't helping the situation. IF EVERYONE rate all mods a thumbs up, means the higheset amount of thumbs up is the most popular. It's my opinion anyway. Means the not so popular mods not going to be popular and we thinks it's bad because the small amount of thumbs up. This is my opinion, sorry if this insult anyone. buddah
I am not one to follow the herd, so what others think of a mod is irrelevant....all that matters is I want it in my game. I do read comments for possible problems, but when it comes to my game the only opinion that matters is mine. Think about it.

LHammonds
When has the public voting system ever been anything but a popularity contest? If you had a niche mod (no matter how well it is created), it would never make the top lists UNLESS it was popular (liked by the masses...which is the opposite of niche mod). If a mod author would like specific feedback other than what can be discerned from the existing tools, the author should ASK for it. I recommend making a form on your mod description that would allow people that want to review and give you feedback an option to give you the feedback you are looking to obtain. Most people find a blank comment box VERY blank. If you are serious about getting specific feedback, ask for it. Example: =======================================Review Form For those that would like to help me out and give constructive feedback, please copy and paste this form into the comments and fill it out. Thanks! 1. Did the mod meet your expectations based on my description and screenshots? Yes or No2. What was the one thing about my mod you like more than anything else? ___________3. What was the one thing you would like to see improved more than anything else? ________4. What would you like to see added if I continued development of this mod? __________5. Is this the kind of mod you'd keep enabled in your game? Yes or No6. Is this the kind of mod you'd keep in your archive? Yes or No7. Is this the kind of mod you'd recommend to others? Yes or No or Very Few8. Was it fun? Yes or No======================================= Of course, each author is looking for different feedback based on what kind of mod they created but you can easily see that a review form such as this that is filled out by 10 people that played the mod is more valuable than 1,000 votes IMO.
