Dark0ne
I'm looking to upgrade my PC over the next few months and was wondering where you folks go to learn about the best components to buy under budget. I'm not going to be spending £750 on an FX-55. I'd like to get a mobo, CPU, memory and GFX card for under £600 and was wondering where you folks look to find out benchmark info, ATi vs. nVidia shiznits and the like. mogambo
Dont go anywhere in particular just purchase what i can afford and stick to the best names! If i do have a problem i usually ask in the www.adslguide.org.uk hardware and gaming secition of 'dem forums I did find this while poking around on alt.games.ea.battlefield, toms hardware graphic card performance comparison http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/2...ml#3d_mark_2005
sheriff-fatman
http://overclockers.co.uk/ They have some daft rules about posting questions about where to buy (it is paid for by the shop) but the forums are a wealth of info on just about everything, and you can usually get a fast responce to any questions. Some people will also spec you a system if you give them an outline of your requirements (budget, main uses etc)
