I tried to take one of the followers and use console commands to reduce age to make a child, but conversation options and voice were all wrong. I wonder how hard it would be to introduce marriage, and have a child generated using facial characteristics from both you and the other parent. I know marriage exists in one mod, but it's one of the mild pornographic mods. And the marriage is to a ghoul. I have no problems with with that, as long at it completely involves "adults". LHammonds Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 One thing I felt bad about in the game was the point where I turned in Mr. Burke (I think that was his name) and the sheriff started escorting him out of the bar and was shot in the back. I eventually had to go and talk to the sheriff's son (now an orphan). I wished there was something I could do to take him under my "protection" but there were no options for it. Having him tag along in gun fights is NOT what I'd consider adoption. But having to provide food, shelter and clothing was something I thought would be cool. The game is overall very depressing and having an option to help the next generation of people would be a wonderful thing. Especially if you can influence their behavior towards being a "guardian of the peace" or "destroyer of nations." This concept could be taken even further where rescued children can be taken to an orphanage where other NPCs come in to adopt children...with the goal of getting all orphans adopted. This could mean adding an option to some dialogs where you save somebodies life that you tell them to do the same by saving the life of a child by adopting and caring for them...assuming you think they are not wastes of space. ;) LHammonds Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
