thegodot2
I bought the Retail DLC, and have no success at all in using it. It installs fine, but when I begin to play it, I get neither of the radio signals to begin the quests no matter how long I wait for them, and if I go to the quest manually, I am surrounded by huge exclamation marks indicating that textures are corrupted or missing. There is also some missing sound. I have tried reinstalling the DLC to no avail, and I have disabled all mods on fomm. Has anybody else had the same problem? All suggestions are welcome. gsmanners
How does that pack install? Does it put files into your Data folder, or does it install like GfWL installs? If it's not using Data, you may need to move some files around. http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.ph...;#entry13872813
thegodot2
Nope, it installs straight to the data folder. Also, I tried the GfWL version before this and had a similar problem with the textures and radio signals even when the files had been moved. Could this be the same problem? gsmanners
That's nice to know. I suppose you have the 1.6 patch? If not, you may need the bsa manager and fake patch. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2094http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.ph...owtopic=1004082
thegodot2
I've used v1.6 before with no success, and the files you've suggested haven't helped either unfortunately. Oddly enough, the quest actually appeared in my Pip-Boy this time around, but sadly the textures and meshes were still missing. *sigh*

thegodot2
You're using the retail pack too right? Is it just The Pitt that you're having issues with, or are you experiencing the same problems with Anchorage that I am?
