Kleptomania

I have virtual kleptomania.

In Oblivion and Fallout 3, anything of any value, I have to take it.

I have around 2000 encumbrance worth of food in my refridgerator.

Broken Steel complicated this.

300 bottles of Aqua Pura.

I usually take poo like food, drinks, scrap metal, guns, ammo, grenades, chems, etc.

I get a painful feeling inside when I leave stuff behind.

I always have an initial virtual kleptomania (or just greed) in any RPG that allows it, but towards the endgame when the value of the stuff I stole early in the game becomes worthless, I stop.

Also, you can always install mods. Real Injuries - Primary Needs and Repair Rethought (Broken Steel/Point Lookout patch here) make food, drinks and many junk items more useful.

I do have Simple Needs installed. I used to have Real Injuries, but it got a little frustrating. I tried Survival of the Fittest, but it broke, and I had -12232038782874% hunger.

Offtopic, but anyone get a -2 health effect from drinking too much Aqua Pura?

I got it once during Point Lookout, and I wasted 400 stimpacks.

I didn't poison the water either.

Haha holy crap Im the same way. Lol ever played any of the Gothic series games? The first Gothic, that was the catalyst for me. Since I was able to make potions and spell runes from...well basically anything, I started picking up like EVERY herb I came arcoss, everything mineral or weapon. Didnt matter I carried it all around. Such has also carried over into games like Morrowind and Oblivion and now into Fallout haha.

LOOK! There! Theres another bottle of wonderglue! Thats another item to sell and make more money from!! WHahahahaha!

Everything from leather belts to plasma rifles. My inventory is stacked always. Plus I have this nasty habit of hoarding suits of armor or any weapon of item with an uncommon nature haha. My Tenpenny suite safe is full of armors, Nukacola Quantoms, unique weapons haha.

Oh what havbe RPGs done to me

Yes, i do that aswell.

Well, not as much now, but i did before. Like on online games like runescape, colecting EVERY peice of worthless crap...

Anyway, in FO3 and Oblivion, i still do it, but mostly with nuka-cola and the mac and cheese. NO IDEA WHY!

There is so much booze in Fallout 3 it isn't even funny.

Okay, maybe a little. :P

Aside from that, I used to be like that until I realized it was really ruining my fun. Have no idea why. At first I was like "I have to collect everything", but it started to bog down my game so I went cold turkey. It was hard at first, that itch in your hand, but eventually, I got used to it.
