Moments that made you feel like a god...

Recommended Posts

The entirety of Take it Back!

There's just something about walking casually down the road, surrounded by exploding cars and Vertibirds, with a giant freaking robot in tow, that brings a tear to my eye every time.

Every. Time.

So... beautiful... *sniff*

Ah yes! This much is true. How about that last push the Enclave makes as you arrive at the Memorial. Before you head into the Project Purity area. Theres what, like 15-20 Enclave soldiers who run up from the top ramp.

Standing at the top of that ramp with a minigun pouring hundreds and hundreds round into your enemy while Prime blasting them into meaty chunks is quite nice

Haha so just had another one. Fairfax raiders make great fodder lol.

My current char is only level 9, with a measly 20 for Big Guns skill.

A previous skirmish yeilded a Missile Launcher, so i figured, hey why not, some extra kick cant hurt.

So, I think it was 7 or 8 raiders are all alerted to me when I started chucking grenades at them. They all came running from one door way into the street and were very close together. So i put a missile right at their feet, killing 2 and wounding the others. One more missile finished the the other 5 with limbs going everywhere. The last two said *ban me* this and tried to hobble away. My left arm was cripples from catching a spray of assault rifle and shotguns, I thought Id never hit them with that last missile. But i shot it anyways, sure enough it left right at them as they getting away and blasted their bodies into nothing lol.

I couldnt help but smile afterwards haha.

Ok, first a little gear/mod info.

Mods:

Increased Spawns

Increased Increased Spawns

Increased Ghoul Spawns

Enclave Commander

Various perk mods

Gear during this event:

Hunting rifle (90-100% durability)

Pre-war business suit

Pre-war hat

Tweaked out eyepatch

Location: Dunwich Building

So I walk into Dunwich with a squad of 5 enclave, sporting various rifles and heavy weapons. Most ended up dying on the first floor. But it was the second floor that was where this all went down.

So I walk into the second floor and hit the hallucination and promply drop the Glowing One. I look at my compass, and there's just a mob of red and I can hear tons of ghouls. So what do I do? I fire a shot up at the second floor. Oh boy howdy did that get their attention. About what must have been 50 ghouls later (ranging from normal Feral Ghouls to Reavers and the mod ghouls), the first wave was over. The second wave was about half that. Not a scratch on me (VATS headshots did msot of the distance making between me and the ghouls). Not a single enclave trooper under my command died from that experiance (I had rezzed them prior to entering the second floor).

Here's a pic of the aftermath.

MMM/FOOK/XFO + 60+ more mods

My most Recent "Awesome moment" would have to be when i was walking through the waste disposal site, where you get the agility pipboy, at night. i usually avoided nights as with my list of mods the nights are way darker and new enemies roam about. i had the night vision visor from the armored chinese stealth suit mod on and was taking a moment to enjoy how cool the new fireflies/glowflies looked under the nightvision effect. all of a sudden i hear dogmeat growl, and by the time i spin around theres already a 7 pack of wanamingos grinning in my face. dear god those things are perfectly recreated. this lead to a very fast-paced bloody melee battle with lots of awesome scenes as i still had my nightvision on. also entertaining was watching dogmeat basically "ankle Bite" them as their mouths could probably swallow him whole.my wasteland never ceases to amaze me ^____^

Working my way through the Statesman hotel with my current character (decided on a bit of a challenge, so the only armour I wear is the Wasteland Wanderer clothing). Sneaking around corners, making headshot after headshot with my silenced pistol and hunting rifle and then leading any pursuing mutants into my carefully arranged frag mines was so much fun. The fact that I had Increased Increased Increased Spawns on and that Existence 2.0 was playing in the background made it all the more tense and enjoyable.

New god moment:

Okay, this one is better than my mine wall. I dl'ed FOSE and was starting my new profile. I went over to the Super Duper Mart right after I got the alien disintegrater. There was a scavenger and 2 raiders there, so I take out both the raiders and head towards the dead protectron. I look down at it and the scavenger tells me to keep away. Thinking he was just bluffing, I crouch down at it as he pulls out his sawed off shotgun. I activate the protectron, took the E-cells, and stood up, and I was looking straight into a Flamer. I IMMEDIATELY run out and blast him to bits with my new alien tech. I walk off a bit later, and 20 super mutants were running around the SDM. I take em out and go to the back and there's a dead Super Mutant with ~80 Flamer Fuel, but no flamer. I went back to the dead scavenger, and he had no flamer fuel. What made me feel like a god? The splattered bits of 20 super mutants and 2 raiders, decorating the parking lot.

My best moment, When I headshot Col. Autumn (this was before he was my characters dad).

But non fallout related, once I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and I was running around with a sniper rifle. I guy popped around the corner, I got such a fright, I accidentally fired, and I got a headshot, I felt epic.

After running around turnning all the switches on to power up the generators on Mothership Zeta, killing all the other aliens who had teleported over while I was, fighting along side the other abductee survivers, and then blasting the other alien ship out of space. Yeh! I felt a clear sense of adrenaline power.
