;_; I helped

I think you need to run something in the terminal to get a 32bit pack that lets you run 32bit stuff.

Ddmlink told me something about that but I forgot the script :/

ย

And I had a few problems with it already but I guess it's my AMD card not liking it. After getting used to it and fixing problems slowly and customizing it to my likes, I'm starting to like it.

Also get KDE, it makes Ubuntu have a windows-like GUI. The task bar is especially useful since switching between programs in Gnome is not as easy.

Indeed you helped, I'd give you kudos but I already did.

I've set up Ubuntu/XP dual-boot on mine and gave the laptop to my girlfriend since she wanted her own comp for music.

ย

And yes, I got laid last night because of that, makes me feel like I should fix stuff more often.

ย

I know about 32 library package, the script is "sudo apt-get install ia32-libs" if I recall correctly.

ย

I like that script based interface, reminds me of good old Win98.

ย

Oh yeah, Ubuntu hates ATI drivers, I removed them since they're useless anyway so I have no problems.

ย

I don't need KDE, I got Cinnamon with a custom theme which turned out looking awesome.

And damn, I like the workplace switcher, I always do a bunch of things at the same time and this makes everything organised.
