Help with body mods

Hi, new guy here.

I just got into Oblivion after playing Morrowind for a while, and all these body mods are really confusing. Early on I thought BAB was the way to go, but now I see all these amazing outfits for HGEC. To my chagrin, when I go look at HGEC, it comes in different cup sizes! Does it matter which one I download? If I download the AA for instance, would my character just turn bigger when putting on armor meant for higher sizes and flatten for vice-a-versa?

This really is a lot to take in. Morrowind just had Better Bodies and that was that.

HGEC is definitely the way to go. it is the most active body mod these days bab and most of the others are all but dead when it comes to new clothes. as far as cup sizes go your cup size is what ever your wearing at the time. hard to find much for the small sizes. to bad really like the little ones my self, suggest the eve clothing replacer it's c-cup or e-cup your choice

I disagree on this. Fantasy Female bodies (search "TeamFF" "TFF" and "UFF" to find things made for it) has tons of options as well. I will admit many started as hgec options and were later converted. Other body mods I don't really know.. don't see a lot for them. Personally I like Robert's female replacer but there's not many options for it.

OK thanks for the responses. SavageArtistry, thanks for the suggestions but since I'm an anime fan, I kind of have my eye on some of hentai's armors, though there's some nice Fantasy Female armors that caught my eye as well.

Now another question with armors. Since there's some revealing armors, what happens when you equip one of those meant for bustier characters on a flatter character? And if a mod says its meant to be used with HGEC, does that mean I can just use any version and it'll "adjust" or something?

Oh and, what about custom races that say they support Exnem but not HGEC? Since HGEC came from Exnem, does that mean its also compatible?

1. In this game, when actor wears a garment, the garment replaces corresponding body meshes. If you use HGEC normal C-cup, and your character wears a clothes/armor for HGEC EBE fighter, the body shape will be changed to HGEC EBE fighter.

2. When actor wears a garment for different body mod, as long as it covers whole body(no skin revealing), it will be okay except changed body shape. However, if the clothes/armor reveals skin, you may see screwed skin texture, like 'nipple on thigh', because of UV mapping difference of each body replacer.

3. HG EyeCandy is derived from Exnem EyeCandy, so they're compatible each other, basically. (Note: RAIAR's MG(Modder's grade)EC has slender wrist, making it incompatible with other EC body types)

I believe exnem and hgec are texture compatible. If you take the time to learn a little bit about the contruction set you can easily change that texture to one that is compatible with your body style.
