A little overwhelmed

Well I finally got oblivion working (yay me) But playing it I find I really hate the character models, especially the faces. So I want a mod that makes everyone sexy! and while I'm at it, how about some mods that bring more nudity in to game and some adult situations, and even a flat out sex mini game or quest. So I go out searching for mods that will shape the game the way I want it. I soon found myself sifting through mod after mod, and only scratching the surface of what there is to be had. but most mods I found are not what I'm looking for.

 

I'm also new to modding. I gave no idea what version of oblivion I have, and the oblivion Mod manager doesn't seem to see the HG EyeCandy body http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 that I downloaded. also I have no idea what that mod does. does it give you more character creation options, change a specific NPC, or a type of NPC?

 

anyway I'm looking for a list of mods that'll get me what I want or at least a point in the right direction.

1. ExnemEC and HGEC does not have plugin, so unless you downloaded OMOD and installed it via OBMM, you wouldn't see anything about that. Actually, for body replacers, plugin is not needed unless you need to assign different body texture per each race(especially for Khajiit).

 

2. Oblivion allows only 1 type of body per gender(1 for male, 1 for female). So, if you replace male/female body meshes and textures, all male/female actors will have same body.

 

3. For face, you need to familiarize with Facegen sliders. But replacing textures with higher resolution ones will make change. Begin to get Hires age maps by downloading Natural Faces or Improved Facial Textures.

Sexual Oblivion:

Well first and foremost Sexlivion(need the original too)

 

Mods with (mature) mature themes, but little or no nudity/acts:

Windfall. Brothel on the island and people are upfront with their mature happenings.(husbands or wives sleeping around, and stuff like that)

Integration. A very very long romance, ending in sex... or less satisfying ways if you piss her off, and such..... also a brothel where the player gets raped if they aren't careful.

Blood and Mud . A brothel, and something else. :whistling: (spoilery stuff, don't want to ruin the outcome for you.)

The Romancing of Eyja. a short/medium length mod to get Eyja to love/sleep [with] you

Sexy companion II.

 

That's about all I'm aware of in this category. My interests in these mods is more of immersion/romance type thing and less. "Horny teenager just looking for sexy/nude things"... I've heard of at least one or two Japanese mods about just having sex, or whatever. I've never looked in to them though.

Ah thank you, I'm moving along swimmingly now. All I need now is a mod that allows you to use speechcraft to get into the pants of random girls...or at least get their cloths off.

Not aware of anything like that. Sadly it seems any sort of mature mod falls in to two categories:

 

1: Story romances, or Immersion brothels

2: Horny, instant gratification mods that don't give two hoots about realism, immersion, or anything like that...it's all about the sex.

 

So, yeah I don't think there's any "mature persuasion overhaul", or "Talkie Toaster's seduce and lay." ;D

 

While looking for a health bar mod someone asked about I did see one of those lame little mods that was made by amateurs and is probably bug ridden... Something about adding a conversation to all females to ask them to bare their chest. :rolleyes:

 

Oh, clothes off can be done with Talkie Toaster's Companion Share and Recruit.

 

As for backing up save games you can use Wrye bash, or do it manually by copy/pasting the ess file to a different folder.

 

The folder with the saves should be somewhere like this on Windows XP:

 

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves

But I cannot find how to back up my saved files. How do you do that?

Get Wrye bash

As you can see on the screenshot there is a "saves" tab at the top, and when you right-click saves it opens up a option box. If you highlight the "file" option with the arrow you'll then see a backup option. Click it, and that's it.

 

If you need any more explaining the whole website there should explain everything you can do with bash.
