Kregen
Hi fellow travelers, I am not a modder my self , but I would like to request someone who is to make a save game loader that sorts saves by character. I like to play more than one character at at time and would like thier respective saves games to be placed in seperate folders. If anyone could do this or poit me to a mod that already exists I would be most greatfull.
Amaze
I remember there was a mod for this right when Skyrim came out. I think the consensus then was there was some risk involved in using it. Can't remember the name sorry.
chanchan05
Why not just do it manually? I do it that way anyway. All the save games are in My Documents>My Games>Skyrim>Saves. What I do is I copy the saves to another folder (sorted by character), and if I want to play another character (usually for mod testing), I just replace the contents with another set of files. Also helps if you use Mod Manager instead of NMM, since that allows different mod profiles.
Kregen
thx for your input both of you. However @ chanchan05 although your option is a good, I was looking more for somthing that did it automaticaly the same way a lot of the invetory mods work. I'm just lazy I supose. IsharaMeradin
Wrye bash is capable of handling profiles. A profile is a separate folder within the saves directory. With this method you can keep saves for each character in its own folder. The way it happens is by making a single line edit in the skyrim.ini whenever the active profile is changed. This means that you can launch the game by any means and have the desired character saves. You can even maintain different plugins (non-loose) per profile by deactivating all plugins in the mods tab and electing to load masters used on the save you intend to run. Cool thing is I just discovered all that tonight :P

It's been installed for quite a while on my computer but I never got around to opening and exploring it. Hmm, might have to go wiki mode again. :D

Deleted3507349User
If all you're looking to do is manage character saves, check the link in my signature. It's a really good character manager. It doesn't have any functionality for mod profiles though.
