I mainly keep Raul (for his perk) and ED-E for their extra carrying capacity, but they make the game way too easy. If there was a companion that didn't attack, and still gave me the full maintenance perk, I'd use them instead. I just knocked this up quickly, it's not been tested, this might stop ED-E attacking although I dare say he will still defend himself. If I am on FO3 I tend to go alone since I do not have the the game for steam and the vanilla followers are crap on 3. Since I have spent way more time on 3, I usually go alone.
