Xenoshi
For some reason when listening to GNR Three Dog will go "Lets here the latest about that <Karmic Title>" And then say nothing, either cut to music or go on about something totally unrelated to my character. I have no mod's doing anything in relation to the Radio, and all the DLC's. Any idea what's causing this? I tried to search, but couldn't find anything relevant. roquefort
I suspect that Threedog occasionally indulges in funny cigarettes and loses the thread. He isn't always consistent. He slags me off for killing the ghouls who want to take over Tenpenny Tower (and kill everyone there), but praises me for doing other good-karma stuff.. I'd miss him if he wasn't there though :)
Xenoshi
See, my problem is, he doesn't say anything about me at all. He'll just say my karmic title, and then say 3 or so random news segments about raiders, the talon company, and super mutants. Or it'll just got into music. It wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for the fact that the last time before my reformat I was playing with a different radio station that didn't have Three Dog and I missed his little news segments, only to now find out they don't work. As I researched into it more, it seems to be a commonish problem. Three Dog may mention the player's title but fail to deliver any quest-related news, skipping straight to generic news - e.g., if the player's rank is "Ranger of the Wastes", Three Dog will mention the "ranger of the Wastes", but instead of following this statement with a quest-related news segment, he'll instead skip to saying "This is Three Dog with a bit of news!" and deliver a generic news piece. From Fallout Wiki that's basically what's happening to me. Im just curious as to if there is a fix, I was just biting the bullet and drudging through it but when I hear him mention me I get excited only to get no news yet again...It was just a nice little thing that broke up the monotony of the same few songs over and over lol
roquefort
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3986 You could give that a try. It's supposed to fix various problems with GNR; it gives "Increased chances of player-specific news playing", it says. There are also various mods to add more music if you get bored with the supplied playlist. Do a search in the nexus for `GNR' or `radio' or `music'. Xenoshi
Tried it and it didn't work, hm, might try reinstalling or just go back to listening to my own music and live without hearing about my self.

BooneoftheWasteland
This is somewhat game breaking for me. In my ps3 version I got all the reports. In my new pc version I decided to go straight to the MQ only to find out he says nothing about me. Then I decided to go back about 40 saves and complete the Megaton bomb quest in hopes of his news casts kicking in. Instead I get him saying and now a bit of news several times and then nothing, or talks about James. I've looked at the mods and it all seems to be about speaking after 20th level and stopping certain quests being talked about, but thing is I liked them being mentioned throughout my ps3 version. Is there a way to fix this? Mod? GECK? Thanx.
BooneoftheWasteland
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3986This fixed it for me. After loading up an old game save it did nothing. I waited for 3 days nothing, went in and out of cells, nada.Decided to go back to my latest save and gave up on trying and Three Dog updated the fact that he met me. Happy I am. Definitely will rate tomorrow and thank the modder
