Obmm Problems

Hi I am a frequent user of Obmm and this has never happened before. I installed all of the realswords mod in omod format....But I decided to get rid of that and install them manually instead. BUt now whenever i try to do exit obmm this message pops up.....

An Unhandled exception has occurred.

Extra Information should have been saved to 'Obmm_crashdump.txt' in oblivions

base directory.

Error Message: Access to the path 'Realswords' is denied.

So I always have to use ctrl-alt-delete to exit it.

I have no idea what this is suppose to mean. Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

P.S I am using Fcom_realswords instead of the actual esp's.

Thanks.

It's supposed to be exactly what the message says, OBMM does not have right access to the folder/files (or they are in read only mode what is the same).

I suppose you uses Vista and have the game installed into the C:\Program Files folder...

If so, you'll need to disable UAC (not recommended) or reinstall the game at someother folder outside that "program Files"... it's a well know issue with Vista.

Yes I do use vista but I did not install my game to the default folder I installed it to c:\Games

So I would not have to turn of UAC but how am i suppose to find the folders for realswords?

Have not the mod's README the procedures to uninstall it?

The problem may be you deleted textures that are in the meshes path, OBMM may check it, if the omod is in it's list.

You can use whatever method you want but must avoid messing with the way 'automation' applications works. removing the 'omod' from the place OBMM see it may resolve 'this' issue. This is specially true if the omod have scripts.

Anyway, put attention the message says about 'denied' too, may just be the folders or file(s) are actually denied to OBMM...
