EvanF3
So twice in the last 2 days I've gotten Blue Screens of Horror from my HP, and I'm currently backing everything up on an external drive before death strikes. I'm well into Fallout 3 and would like to ensure my progress is saved when I transfer to a new computer. Is the data stored in any hidden places that might not be obvious to a non-tech like myself? Thanks so much.
xaechireon
As far as I can tell, all your character data is located in "C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves". This is only for Windows XP though. Apparently Vista has a different location.
EvanF3
Thanks! Unfortunately (as I should have clarified) I'm running Vista. Anyone know where my saves are hiding there?
evilneko
Replace Documents and Settings with Users. Or just copy your My Games folder.
