SunnyDelight
I understand I am not staff and it is not my job to take action in such incidents but I hope most people read this. Today I was in the chat and someone posted a seemingly innocent image link to imjur. I'm sure some know what it's like, you click on it out of interest unless told not to. Little did most of those viewers in the chat know what they where about to see. It was a picture of a young girl. I mean young. Yes CHILD PORN! I'm sorry but who in their right mind puts something like that on ANY kind of chat? Fair enough people put stuff on forums and the chat about piracy etc. They get banned and for many other reasons including the guy that put this image up. The point I'm trying to make is that it is disgusting. I know I'm making a deal out of it but there is a big difference between Piracy and doing what that guy did. I sincerely and I think the rest of you should to, thank the admins in this case DrGrimm for instantly banning him and his remade accounts. I completely understand they wouldn't let something like that just go but I really do thank them for that. I seem sensitive on the subject yes because I have written reports in my science diploma about the misuse of the internet ad the most disturbing topic was that one. I don't know if the admins go any further to report the people they find it's not their job after all so I don't blame them if the don't. I understand the site prohibits the posting of inappropriate material which is great! :D All I ask of those who read this: PLEASE PLEASE report any incidents of this immediately to the admins! You can ultimaety contribute to ridding the internet of such stuff by doing this: Most countries have a devoted website based on reporting child pornography. I know England has one: www.iwf.org.uk All I ask is for you to report any kind of incident found anywhere on the internet to these people! They will get these people in a lot of trouble for goooood reason! Don't worry though you don't have to sign up, they won't take any sites (like the nexus which such stuff may leak onto) down. All you have to do is describe what you found and a link to the evidence. I would like to say thank you to anyone who does what I ask! I know I'm a nobody having a moan about a small incident but about a rather large subject but i just think it is wrong! Thanks for reading aswell! Innocent sites don't deserve to be used like that! One last note please reply telling me what you think! Edited March 3, 2014 by SunnyDelight
SunnyDelight
One thing I think this is in the wrong section but I put it here because I thought it was a constructive suggestion...some how...sorry. *Curtsy*
bben46
PLEASE report this to the staff. We ban the idiots that do this - but someone must let us know as there is not always a moderator on line in chat - but we do log the chat and keep that log. If there is no moderator on line, please give us the approximate time so we can find it easier in the log.
alienzerox
wow ... that's creepy in so many ways ....considered to be cyber stalking .. not to be a paranoid... well actually I am .... but clicking by on any material uploaded can lead to a sometimes undetectable worm getting into your system enabling them to hack for personal info .. just sayn you should do a anti-virus sweep of your system asap

TaradelSol
I have to speak to a moderator about an associated issue besides this one. There are a lot of male friendly exaggerated body engineering mods, maybe not too many, but I can see how someone might get the idea that if they set a hook out they'll get a few strikes. I wondered if there might be a 'category' for them like 'pole dancer' or 'smoking room', perhaps that's the wrong direction to go in, but it is really sickening when I adjust search fields and I still get exaggerated anatomy. Still, I'm glad there are all those mods to choose from, some with mixed results. This inappropriate content that was downloaded onto the forum is entrapment. Most players are playing a game for relatively good wholesome entertainment. At least I am. This is probably one of the best games ever made, even with a bunch of potato faces. Hopefully gamers weren't lured into the spiders web, 'cause they know what will drop your IQ to nothing. As the poster said, just clicking on that picture will probably compromise your computer. This can have a chilling effect on the mods. Second to Oblivion, Nexus is the best accessory now for many games. If the search fields work for locating appropriate mods it would be a great asset in keeping it that way.

The images that were mentioned here weren't hosted on the nexus, nor did they have anything to do with what is hosted here.
