Started to play skyrim again, hours of adding mods, CTD!

Hey!

 

 

Cant start new game because its show loading screen sometime and then bang! CTD! Tested mods on my very old saves, then deleted them all and then i tried to play new game, cant start.

 

i admit that first mods i added carefully but because this was my last holiday i rushed my last mods and got endless CTD.

 

I have used NMM with almost all mods, BOSS, and SKSE ofc. and when i put ALL mods in-active it STILLS CTD! thats why i cannot tell whats going on here!

 

 

i dont wanna uninstall whole s*** because i spent hours and hours by choosing and finding, testing mods.

and tried to un-active these ALL PLUGINS in plugins list on NMM but nothing can do, do i have to do formating to all mods and skyrim or only skyrim fuuuck! gonna loose it.

ps. my computer: AMD phemom x4 @ x6 3,7Ghz, RAM 8GB, Nvidia 560 gtx 448 core edition @ 950 mhz, SSD 128 gb, and so on...good coolin too, i suspect my ram memopry when i have all of these on but when i put them in active its still same...

Does this load list make it thru TES5Edit? Bet this is missing a master.....

 

Think with a list this long your gonna need WryeBash...Wrye would show a missing master as the ESP would be RED.

 

Have you done Everythng BOSS is telling you?...Like ...

 

Even give ya the link. Read thru that log carefully, BOSS has a lot to say about your mods. Do everything it says, you can trust what its telling you. you do know that their is a limit to the amount of mods you can have?

TO be frank, your mods need cleaning bad, quite a few of them are not update, have error (Jswords old version) Download Sharlikans JSword mod its updated.

 

Such huge overhauls like Lair of hydra (it has over 300 dirty edits) need to be cleaned and should be the first things ticked off if you experience crashes.

 

Are u sure you have been careful with your mods?

 

Such patches for UFO like dawnguard patch and so on for some reason contain dirty edits - they didnt contain any dirtty edits when i Ran BOSS. Im assuming many of your mods are not up to date.

 

 

I am sure you have several more mods that probably cause crashes, but i do not recognize them. Needles to say you have lots of overhauls, script mods, castle mods - which all combined will make poop out of your game. You will have to trim down on your list there's no other way, at the very least update whichever mdos you can and clean with TES5EDIT

FFNords is unfinished as far as i know the author said it himself

 

 

 

Forget such old mods like "wheezers dungeon packs" which havent even been updated for more than two years. Will definitely cause you CTD's

 

A follower mod can also be the one causing CTD

Thanks for quick reply, startin today clearing mods and delete some of them. Its just weird when try To start new game when ihan have all mods off, but hope that cleaning works. I Will update when i have done cleaning and other stuff. Just put many mods to fo nv with no problems

And yea i had limit 255 full but trying To delete some mods. I unistalled animation mods coz they had me insta ctd when starter skyrim. My new game crashed when i Applied about 1/3 My last mods. And when i deleted all my old savegames but yea i have lot To do

From your list, only these mods were the ones that i can recognize as stable, maybe Wet and Cold as well (but its very script heavy)

 

Also use Wrye Bash to make a bashed patch or many lvl list mods will not play nice with each other.

 

Consider turning off follower mods until you leave helgen.

Okay i skimmed over your approach to CTD

 

and as you're frustrated and understandably so

 

lets have you try this.....

 

go back into your trash-can on your desktop

 

and select two of your latest saves one ending in ess and one skse or

your last character save

 

and then "restore" them back into your saves directory

 

then try Running the game but dont select continue select "new"

 

after your IN if you get in that is save that game and exit

 

now go back in but load the last character save you just restored

 

one last thing another method is to run the game bare bones

no mods zilch just skyrim.esm to get a START

 

also

make sure to check your journal and UN-check all quests for now

First, actually read the BOSS log - there are several very big hints there.

 

There is no magic bullet that fixes CTD problems - some mods are just not compatible with some other mods. and with over 28,700 mods available there is no way to know every incompatibility.

 

Most ( not all) instant crash when starting the game are caused by missing masters, missing SKSE or something that a mod needs to work just not being there. The only way to know what a mod really needs is to actually read the documentation for that mod before putting it into your game.

 

Now, disable all of your mods and see if the game will start - if it will, go all the way through the Helgen intro BEFORE piling on mods - the intro is heavily scripted and will cause crashes if any scripts added by mods try to do anything there.

 

Now, add mods one or two at a time - running BOSS after each several mods -and TEST it by playing for a few minutes.

 

The 255 mod limit is just that - a hard limit that you cannot ignore. But, some games will hit an earlier limit that when you add one more mod - it crashes. This seems to depend on your computer as well as what mods you have.

Ok check wrye and check followers off.

 

Ihave tried to run game with only skyrim esm. But have same problem when try start new game

 

 

I Will try your nice tips when i arrive at home. (Still in work) :( and then i Will update my status.

Going soon To Back to home and have 1 question, is it easy To switch from nmm to wrye or do i Need To uninstall all and then add them one by one To wrye?

 

 

 

ediit: wrye bash downloaded and everything it in is "green", now going for pathced bashs, then cleaning dirtys, mods off, start new game, going past intro, applying mods, testing, fixing right?
