Germandeathkittiez
Ok, I know you might think I'm crazy but here's my idea:Very high in the sky there's a Dwemer space station, which you take some kind of Dwemer shuttle to. Once you get to the station, there are 3 - 4 planets that can be seen in the distance. From the space station, you can take portals to each of these new planets.I'm not asking to make an entire planet, obviously, just a minor landscape, but just to make it look like these are entirely new planets that you're going to.I was thinking that once you get to the station, there could be a wallpaper of space as well as new planets to make it look like you're on the edge of space. Maybe this would work best if the space station were in a new cell accessed through a loading screen. The new planets could be anything, maybe a place to put those mods that are out of the worldspace that seem to have no reason you go there, or maybe something more creative, like with quests. I think this could be done.
tullabee
Once upon a time there was an RPG that placed 19th century characters on wooden sailing ships (balloon/sail) travelling to the moon. Of course there were many factions and you could play a soldier, spy, etc.,..In vanilla Oblivion there are (2?) moons displayed in the night sky and many flying creatures. There is also a skyship. I think it would be interesting to explore a new moon with possibly hostile flying creaures there. Altho you may have to create a new form of combat: Airborne Combat. What do you think? Mounted spellcasting works pretty well, how about opposing skyships fighting it out. And there is always the akatosh mount (dragon). The mod, "Burning Items" could be used to burn sails, etc.,...... Ehhhh... There is actually spacetravel in Oblivion, that second "moon" is oblivion, and the gates transports people to and from them. So the game is based upon spacetravel. But I would like to see the second one too I guess.

Mounted Spellcasting? How do you get that anyway? It's no longer offered in DR. Opposing skyships idk. Probably would be a major use of resources so lots of crashes/ lag. But in the sky, maybe it would be possible seeing as it's in the sky and far away from the LOD. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10020This might be a good place to start for the space station. Masser (and Secunda too) are Nirn's moons, not the planes of Oblivion. You never get to go to either of the moons in the game. This would be an awesome mod though :)
