Problems....Im not sure what it means though.

Hi I play oblivion lots and this problem has been going on for a while now so i figured i may as well try and fix it...After failing at that i decided to come here for help.

My oblivion game used to crash at completely random times EX: I could play for five minutes and it would crash or I could play for 5 hours until it crashed.

So In the game whenever I open the console It always says this message...

 

 

Operator:-failed to evaluate a valid result

Error in script 7l000dfa5

An expression failed to evaluate a valid result

 

And It says it over and over again....Like its a constantly running script that has problems.

I fixed the crashing problems with windom earls crash prevention system. but I would still like to figure out what this problem is.

I am not completely sure when this started but I THINK (not sure) It started when I enabled Pluggy HUD ( for use of unnecessary Violence). That might be what the problem is but Im not sure.

IF you have any theories on what might be causing this problem or what this even means Please let me know.

you already pointed it. Apparently OBSE is reporting a faulty script. That situation tends to aggravate and seems to be already showing it.

Now, we can't be of much help without a background. What are your specs, what mods you uses, which order they were installed and did you change load order before the issues?

Also If you see any problems with my load order please say someting.

 

I dont change my load order also because I use BOSS (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) the only one I move Up IS Natural Vegetation Before Unique Landscapes. Oh and Yes you are correct I do use OBSE Oh and Nifscript Too.

about the load order you'll get better answers from others, most mods there I don't know and some may be at newer versions now. Yet some things never changes (no, I'm not telling about war here :) ) and savegames and load order changes should be avoided the maximum but sometimes are unavoidable...

 

Identifying what is that script would help a lot tracing the issue.

Try looking at the obse_loader.log you'll find in the oblivion folder, it may contain useful information.

There is a known bug with (certain versions?) of the pluggy HUD, I believe from .91 and up that causes crashes.

 

Considering your crash problem happened right after installing/using said HUD, this is LIKELY the cause, but It might not be.

 

My best guess, hope it helps.
