Umberstone
I've made a halfling-like race. Because of their height, their heads don't beak the surface of the water while swimming and they drown. I really want to keep them short and I don't want to give them the ability to breath underwater. Is there any way to make short races able to swim and if not, does anyone know the minimum height that would allow my character to swim?
annoyinglogin2
Too tall for it to be good. The Official Dwarf race mod has this problem too and they kept it that way. You can give them water walking if you really want to.
Umberstone
I was afraid of that. I suppose being a poor swimmer might add a little flavor to the character... maybe. Other than drowning and sitting *through* chairs are there any other downsides to playing a really short character? http://i32.tinypic.com/t564nr.jpg
annoyinglogin2
Horse riding should be glitchy too
ipegot
Im not sure but I believe the problem is the game skeleton and how it ends up interacting with your scaled character. For the shorter race to work as intended you would have to modify the skeleton and animations to make up for the change in height. I don't believe you can add a new skeleton for a new race. <.<
annoyinglogin2
You can always set scale horses though
RebelOConner
Horse riding should be glitchy tooNo. mounted horses scale automaticaly to character's size.( i tried with a giant race)but there's the problem when sitting( and slipping too, but only for NPC) Im not sure but I believe the problem is the game skeleton and how it ends up interacting with your scaled character.
