Combat mod wish

I posted a while back asking if anyone knew of a combat mod I could use. I didn't get any replies, so I decided to put this as a wishlist instead. I'm looking for a combat mod that would disable the ability for enemies to turn mid-swing and intercept you while you do sidestep dodges (or otherwise re-enable sidestepping), disable block stun, and take a lot of the randomness out of the game. Faster arrows and enemies actually reacting when they get hit would be appreciated as well. Anyone know of a mod like this in development, or out perhaps?

I've tried Duke Patrick's SCA combat mod, Silver edition. It's the only one left on the 'net. While it does disable block stun, and it does raise the damage on magic and weaponry, all of which I appreciate, I didn't find that it make side-step dodging more reliable (enemies could still hit you no matter how you timed or angled your dodge; they just turn with you). Also, the fatigue drain on that mod is far too great for my tastes; I don't enjoy having my character run out of steam after swinging a longsword three times. To me, that's not realistic; in a real combat situation, people can keep swinging for quite a while, and while trying to pace yourself certainly does help you do better, that's already implemented in the form of fatigue drain lowering your damage consistently.

Aside from the fatigue-drain irritation, my main issue with the mod is that it doesn't do all of the things I want for my Oblivion combat; while melee is certainly more fast-paced, enemies still barely react to hits (except when they stagger) and magic is still just a sort of lame damage-at-a-distance mechanism. I mentioned in my previous thread that I really enjoy the way Dark Messiah operates in combat; the magic has an actual, tangible effect on enemies. For example, a Fireball spell actually knocks enemies all around (so you can use it to scatter an incoming group) and the flame arrow spell can be controlled in midair, you can have multiple ones at once, and it can light objects in the environment on fire. As for melee, I enjoy the fact that in dark messiah, sidestep dodging operates correctly, and most of the stuff that happens isn't random or stat-based like it is in Oblivion; in general, if you win a combat, it's due to skill, not because you lucked out and the enemy staggered from your hit. That's the kind of randomness I want reduced. I guess I bring up Dark Messiah so much because if Oblivion had a combat system like that, it would be one of my all-time favorite games.
