What is a

fool?

What does he

seek?

He opens his

mouth often,

but rationality does

he rarely if

ever speak.

To himself,He

reigns supreme

although his words

thoughts and actions

are taken to

extremes

Oh fool,Oh

fool, high upon

your throne,

does it ever

cross your mind

while you are

so alone?

You seek recognition

for your life

of unhappy ways,

lashing out in

anger,

your sense of

humor

is at best

blasé

You think your

oh so much

better

than those you

seek to annoy

you think yourself

a man among

men,

yet your mind

is that of

a boy.

Oh fool,Oh

fool sitting high

upon your flimsy

wall,

Your words and

deeds and actions

will one day

be your downfall

But you'll never

see it coming,

you'll never get

the clue,

The only one

you truly hurt

is after all

only you!

That was really good dezi. I really liked how it flowed, especially the rhyme scheme.

It's a masterpiece, dezdimona, and it put a lot of things straight again in place in human mind's puzzle... Sincerely, from the heart, you're a great Lady

This is perhaps one of my favorite poems I've ever read, it's so true.
