Enchantment altar with "on Hit"-option

hello,

i would like to request a very special modification. Even after a very long time of searching i was unable to find a mod which solves the following problem:

You can't, if I recall correctly, enchant an item so it equals those you can find or get as a quest reward. Those have for their magical attributes mostly the scope "on Hit". At an altar you can minimal choose "over 1 second". For example Ice Damage 20 points per 1 second. I find that very annoying, because, except the differing text from the Item-description, it appears those messy magic-effective-period symbol on the HUD at every strike.

Is here an expert who understands the deep of the oblivion mods and knows a mod which imparts the enchantment altars the option "on Hit"? Or maybe an interessted modder who can spare a little bit of time to take up my idea and send me his feedback/results?

On hit and over 1 second are basically the same. I'm not sure what problem you're getting with your ui. You could always script your own enchants and apply them to weapons in the construction set and then either put them at a vendor or somewhere in the game world. (You could also script your own enchants and make modified sigil stones that will apply the enchant to any weapon and then just use console commands or some other means to add the sigil stones to your inventory).

yeah basically but there are those small and significat differences. And i have no problem with my ui, the game works like it should and that sucks.

The idea with the "special" enchanting altar isnt bad but it's not that what i asked for.

I have sweeped the whole mod-database for such a Modifikation. :(

Do you or someone else have an idea?

The enchantment system and how enchantment effects cannot be changed in any way*. I suspect this is just a UI problem, or you're hitting things that reflect spells since "on hit" effects should only be getting applied to the thing that was hit, and if that thing being hit is not the player, there should be no icon displayed under active effects.

*Although you can bypass and adjust enchantments with OBSE, you cannot change how those effects are handled by the enchantment, or how a "touch" "target" "constant" enchantment functions.

That is fairly simple to understand... 10 points fire over 5 seconds = 50 points of fire damage at the end ... applied 10 points each second ... sometimes the victim dies before end time. The icon on hud displays the time the effect is active.

Other than saying 1sec instead nothing or on hit no difference at all and changing it without changing the engine itself is impossible to the extent of what I know, as vagrant already pointed.
