EnaiSiaion
How do you find mods?I know what I want, and I search for it. I just browse lists and snap up what looks interesting.I'm asking because I currently have a half completed Magna-Ge based mod and I have this feeling that there is NO ONE who will EVER look for a mod about the Magna-Ge. Seeing as the current state of the game is a race against time to beat TESO and DS2, rushing out a mod no one cares about may be a bad business plan. Inb4 "you should make the mod you want to make". Rofl, good one. Edited March 16, 2014 by EnaiSiaion
ScrollThief84
Hi, EnaiSiaion! I use a bit of both methods that you listed. I usually know what I want and use the category function to find it. Or I see it on the main page and if I really like it or it is in an early state, I will follow it's progress every now and then. Oh, and this: "Inb4 "you should make the mod you want to make". Rofl, good one."
jebivetar6
Just write a long and detailed description, like all merchandise, everything has his market group. The more content it has adds more probability to be hit by google.
Issa 5
When I started off, I would simply open each categories and look at both the popular mods of the moment and the most popular mods of all time. Nowadays I just look at the 'new' pages so I see everything anyway. Also, maybe calling it 'Children of Magnus' rather than 'Magna-Ge' could help, as you could steal views from people looking for child mods. ;) Edited March 16, 2014 by Issa
Rennn
You could put "lore friendly" in the name if it's about real TES lore. Plenty of people search for that, and could be happy to use a mod about one of the background forces of TES.
Ghaunadaur
Yeah and you could even hire a shaman to throw some bones and read from it the best time to release a mod, that will get you the most possible downloads/endorsments.
Cassie363
I use a combination of category and tags. Tags I can't stress enough. They're your best friend. For example, using a tag search I can search exclusively for quest mods with scripted events, or I can search for new locations that also have NPC vendors. This kind of thing makes finding what you want much easier.
Tykiii
I usually just regullary check on the work of the mod authors I like. By default I also just check the list of new today mods on Nexus and pick what looks interesting. I alsoww sometimes use the regular search when I want something specific. I do assume not many people searches for Manga-Ge phrase? Soow... well you should advertise it as both: "Spell mod" and "Quest mod"insted of "Manga-Ge" mod. Btw. I dunn plan to play TESO... I am not into online games much.
jet4571
How to find mods? That's a question I keep asking myself and so far I haven't really come up with a sure fire way. So I usually hit categories and change the sort to alphabetical and go page by page and right click/open new tab any that catch my eye. If I am looking for a specific mod I use tag search and the other thing they call search that's really a random mod list generator. After doing those it is back to page by page and opening in new tabs what looks like what I may want. I do check the new files and skip to the update section often to see what's there, I often find some hidden gems in that section.
giannis196
why don't create a video on youtube for your mod?this would be a good idea!
