Identifying containers safe for storage

It's becoming rather annoying to keep all items on the guild floors, containers would be better, but I don't know which of them respawn and which are safe. I know there is a way to get information about selected items through console by typing "ori", but this only shows the item's ID and which mod it is from. In Oblivion there is some identifier program which allows you to see more details about the item (including whether the container is safe for storage) by clicking Alt + Right mouse. Is there anything similar for Morrowind?

For example, are containers in your manor built during the Houses' questline safe?

this is a great question that kind deserves an answer; is this possible? Yes, no? I would like to know. Personally I think re spawning containers is silly. All containers should be safe. Is there a way i can make all containers safe through the CS and what do you guys think the ramifications of doing something like this would be?

All containers in morrowind don't respawn once you alter their contents, so it should be fine.

But what you should be aware of is stolen item flagging. If you store and take out items off 'owned' containers, those items are marked stolen. This is no problem for normal playthrouh unless you get caught. if it becomes a problem, then you have to edit the save file and delete the the STLN flag. Here's how to do it.

To know which items are owned use console command 'tfh'. It shows if the container is owned or not.

Alternatively, you could us this ownership indicator mod. Its under HUD mods, requires MGXE though.
