[Question] How do I stop the premium fee that goes monthly?

Hello, So I paid for premium membership and I took the monthly fee suggestion to try at least one month. But I cannot find anywhere to shut it down. Am I forced to pay every month even though I just want regular membership?

By default Premium payments are non-recurring. You'll be invoiced for another month but you simply don't pay the invoice if you don't want to pay for another month, your membership will lapse and you'll be automatically moved in to the Supporter group.

 

However, if you specifically selected the "Pay Pal - Recurring payment" from the payment method drop-down menu then yes, you will be automatically charged each month. In that case you need to login to your Pay Pal account and cancel your subscription from there. Once that's done, recurring payments will be turned off and the system defaults to the same as if you'd paid via a non-recurring payment method.
