Sudeki

For any modders reading, i would like someone to make a mod for Oblivion that adds races, armor and/or weapons from the Xbox/PC game Sudeki. The race i would like to be done would have to be something that looked like the god Tetsu. It would also be great to have all the weapons from Tal and Ailish added to the game as well as the armor from all the main playable characters Tal, Ailish, Buki and Elco. Anyone who does this will be adding some fantastic new content to the oblivion world.

 

P.S. If you do make this mod please mention that i Darthnato came up with the idea for the mod. :biggrin:

Uh i'd like to support this request with what my internet can handle and my little knowledge of the forum systems.

I'm sorry in advance for the massive wall of photos i'm about to put up if you got a better idea for showing these please tell me.

As for weapons i can't really provide much for that sorry.

hmm... I'm not a modder, so I can't work on these, but don't they seem a little bit small to you? And wouldn't it be better if we could see the front of the outfits as well?

Yeah its what i could find if i get the time i'll playthough sudeki and use a camera phone to the best of its abilities

That aside, none of the pictures really show enough to really work with. For outfits, you need an unobstructed view of the front, back, and additional details to get a clear image of what is being asked for. For weapons, you need 2-3 unobstructed views of the whole weapon with any of the main design features (hilt/handle ornaments, unusual blade shape) visible. Without this, anyone who might want to attempt the request would need to come up with their own interpretation as to how things look, which is often not a good idea unless the author is familiar with that particular series.

 

Given how little press the game got, and how few people probably know about it, the chances of finding someone interested in spending the time on something like this is very slim. If the weapons and outfits had unique and cool looks to them that could be liked on their own, the chances would be better, but without better images, this may not be possible.

 

Furthermore, there aren't as many people around making meshes for stuff like this anymore, and as usual, most of them are busy with other projects. If it were 1 or 2 objects, the request would be more practical, but wanting a whole set, without source images, makes the project much less like something anyone would want to associate with. You have to remember, when making any sort of request, the one making the request should have done as much of the looking around and image finding as they can, and should post with the intent of wanting to get others interested in the project even if those others have no familiarity with the source. We know that YOU want it, the question is why someone else would want to spend their weekend making it for you.
