Lonesome Road - Not thought through.

>> SPOILER << >> SPOILER << > SPOILER <<

I'll try to be vague as possible - but understand this could be a spoiler.

...........................

The thing with Bethesda Games that left me always going: "Huh??"

When you do something that no one or a seriously limited few know and yet - it suddenly becomes "FULL SANDBOX KNOWLEDGE" of what you did.

Pickpocket and not caught by the person - yet you are still caught and 'labeled' ... No very real.

So in Lonesome Road I decided to "even the playing field" on both sides.

Only 2 people - Myself and the other Character and "ED-E2" knew about this. Yet when I returned to the main game - suddenly EVERYONE knew!

I'm sorry that is just not real - 2/b honest.

I guess I'm just 'venting' (sort of) ... in that with all the "semi-realism" that they Game Producers try to 'shoot for' and yet the most obvious they over look.

Yes, I appreciate that choices have consequences ... being 59 yrs odd ... Ya I'm aware.

But I also know that some choices you make - no one ever finds out and never will and the consequences are mostly internal -> Philosophical huh???

At least the internal are what I taught my kids - you may not pay for them outwardly - but you have to live with yourself and those "quiet choices" ...

Just some thoughts....

He's being bothered by the fact that anyone who's not Ulysses (provided that he lives), ED-E (whichever one really, IIRC the Mojave gets the clone's memories transmitted) and the Courier knows what happened in the Divide and who launched the missles (if they were ever launched).

Yes, basically that's it.

I just found w/the seriously limited - who was there at the time of the launch and more who was not there. Suddenly ALL of the New Vegas Sandbox, knows that Currier 6 is the big "bad" ...

I mean - with the faulty machines / electronics and such, it could easily have been a malfunction - serious short circuit that could have been at play. (In 'real-life', in this scenario).

I know, just a 'nit-pick' ... but just a 'flaw' that sometimes annoys me and just felt like asking if anyone else sees/feels this.

Thanks for reading - one and all.

Insane theory time!

Mine: Mr. New Vegas intercepted ED-E's transmission and made a news segment about it before you got out. That would explain not only why people know who was responsible for the nukes, but also who was responsible for the lack of nukes (if you don't launch any).

Interesting and entertaining idea ....

But "Mr. New Vegas", is always repeating his stories, over and over and over ... again and again and again.....
