MazDraguul
Does someone know how to fix these two errors? Expression Error Unable to find object "NOM_pitfire_off" in script NOM_cookingfire_kit.Expression Error Unable to find object "NOM_pitfire_oven_off" in script NOM_cookingfire_kit_int. I get them when I’m loading a saved game. I can play my saved game but I can’t start a new game (my pc hangs). I tried cleaning with Wrye Mash and sorting my load order with Mlox. No luck yet. I think the last mod/patch I installed was this one: NoM_BTB_Compatibility_Plugins v1.01 from Moddb. A have I ton of mods installed, but these are the only two errors for now. I’m using the GOTY Morrowind edition and NOM v3.03.
Judassem
So sorry to resurrect, but I have the same exact problem. Any ideas about what causes this?
Dragon32
So sorry to resurrect, but I have the same exact problem. Any ideas about what causes this?To have any hope of working out what's going on we'd really need to see your mod list and the contents of your warnings.txt At a guess you've got a NoM 2.12 addon loaded whilst running NoM 3.0, really not sure though. Dragon32
Nothing looks like it's obviously a NoM 2.13 mod. Hrm. I guess the only thing I can suggest is using a grep tool (I use Textcrawler, it's free) to search your mod files. Configure the grep program to look in Data Files, not including subfolders, for files matching the mask *.es? which contain the text strings "NOM_pitfire_off" and "NOM_cookingfire_kit" Hopefully that'll reveal the problem mod. Thanks a ton, I found out that the problem was with "NoM_MC Compatibility Patch." However, that mod comes with NoM itself, in the first upgrade pack (3.01). And as you can see, I'm loading it where the mod author says I should; after both NoM and MC. Why would it create that problem? Any ideas?

There's a copy of that addon in NoM_patch_303a.rar (NoM_patch_303a.rar\Compatibility Patches\Patches), maybe using that version will fix things? Judassem
Strange, it didn't solve it. I think there is a problem with the patch. Anyways, I don't have the OP's problem; my game doesn't crash or freeze because of this problem, I just click on "Yes to all" and the game loads successfully. I can live with that. Dragon32
Some scripts do get saved with the savegame. Try uninstalling the patch, loading up the savegame (probably get errors about missing mods and maybe some others) and then creating a new save. Then re-enable the patch and launch that most recently created savegame.
Judassem
Unfortunately, the error is present even with a new game. I really appreciate your help though. I would never be able to find out the problematic mod by myself. I may remove Morrowind Crafting completely from my load order anyway; it looks really, really complicated and version 3.0 doesn't look like it's going to be released anytime soon.
