Okay, so we went to KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) for dinner this evening and ordered a full meal deal complete with two sides, one of which was mashed (whipped) potatoes. With the potatoes is served a gravy. What kind of gravy?

BEEF.

Not chicken gravy. Beef gravy.

Nowhere else on the menu does anything containing beef appear.

It's a chicken place, for cryin' out loud! WTF!

Has anyone else ever noticed this and realized just how unnatural it is?

Why hasn't anyone over spoken up about it?

Us American's have a weird fetish with meat. For instance...bacon cheeseburgers. Taste delicious but if you think about...beef, and pig? Together? It's like having a bowl of Lucky Charms, with Froot Loops.

Mmmmmm...

That's an idea...bacon cheeseburgers sprinkled with Lucky Froot Loops...

Ewww....

Anyway, yeah... I mean, it SHOULD be chicken gravy. |You're eating chicken... so should you not get chicken gravy? Or maybe two types of processed meat is the way to go... Either way, its nice! :P

I can truthfully say that I have never been inside a KFC, let alone eaten there. But I must say that it does seem strange to be serving beef gravy...

I myself haven't been in one in years.Almost all my food is now organically grown and I feel much better because of it.

But I agree it is strange.Chicken gravy is always creme colored, at least home-made is!

Hmm... maybe we should get an admin. to move this to the Debates section? The pros and cons of genetically manufactured foods versus organic? Any takers?
