Herculine Posted September 30, 2009 Share Posted September 30, 2009 Okay, so we went to KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) for dinner this evening and ordered a full meal deal complete with two sides, one of which was mashed (whipped) potatoes. With the potatoes is served a gravy. What kind of gravy? BEEF. Not chicken gravy. Beef gravy. Nowhere else on the menu does anything containing beef appear. It's a chicken place, for cryin' out loud! Taste delicious but if you think about...beef, and pig? Together? It's like having a bowl of Lucky Charms, with Froot Loops.Mmmmmm...That's an idea...bacon cheeseburgers sprinkled with Lucky Froot Loops... I mean, it SHOULD be chicken gravy. |You're eating chicken... so should you not get chicken gravy? Or maybe two types of processed meat is the way to go... dezdimona Posted September 30, 2009 Share Posted September 30, 2009 I myself haven't been in one in years.Almost all my food is now organically grown and I feel much better because of it.But I agree it is strange.Chicken gravy is always creme colored, at least home-made is!
