Understanding Cheat Code

While I don't usually use cheat codes there are times it comes in helpful. I can get access to many of the "ITEMS" I want using the in game edit command "~". My question is, what do I type in place of the "xx" in the code xx006e3? xx doesn't work, nor does 00. I seem to recall there is a letter code prefix.

The xx typically is the number where the mod is in the load order. So if it is 05 in the load order then it is 05006e3. Try and see if that works.

The XX is the mod index number of your load order. So by that logic;

Fallout3.esm = 00

Anchorage.esm = 01

ThePitt.esm = 02

et cetera...

If it's something from a mod you want to add and you know it's base-id, check that particular mod's index number and replace the XX with that number.

It's hexadecimal numbering btw, so no need to worry if you've got over 99 plugins. :P
