thedevillives
EDIT: As if the situation couldn't get any weirder, I was walking from Gibson scrapyard to Novac and my FPS jumped from 15 to 60. I have an interesting problem. I cannot figure out what is causing the problem. Any insights would be appreciated. The problem appeared suddenly, when I got inside the Repconn facility. At least that's when I noticed it... So I removed all mods (even did a fresh install of NMM), uninstalled the game (even deleted the game directory altogether), and did a fresh install. I fired the game up and created a new save. My FPS is stable at 55-60 on a clean install, no mods. I started adding mods back to the list 1-3 at a time to see if there was a performance imact. NMC's large texture pack, Project Reality, Poco Bueno texture pack, etc. Nothing I installed had a significant impact on my FPS. Still sitting pretty at 55-60 on the new save. I reinstalled most of the mods I had previously used and loaded my old save. Still only at 15-20 fps. Go back to the new game. Still 55-60. chucksteel
You don't need both the NVInteriors Combo's use One or the other. Keep the AWOP version in your case. I don't think it's your problem but who knows.
thedevillives
Thanks for the input. Yea I noticed that, but the problem is with ILO. The installer doesn't have a combo AWOP verson, just a combo version. I'm sure I could make a solution if I knew what I was doing lol. I think I did figure out the problem though. I tried to use the ENB 249 shaders and I kept noticing a steady drop in FPS. As in, I started at 50-55 and after about 30 min it was down to 30-35. I tried all kinds of different settings to make it work but I just couldn't. And it doesn't just uninstall either. I basically had to redo my game and mod installs again. Fun times. BTW, I really like your work. Very good stuff.
chucksteel
To use ILO just rename the NVInteriors combo AWOP to NVInteriors_ComboEdition, it should work just fine the only differences between the versions is I removed the conflicting doors in the worldspaces. And just FYI the only reason for the name change is so I could keep track of the versions on my own system. Hope that helps and have fun.
thedevillives
... rename the NVInteriors combo AWOP to NVInteriors_ComboEdition... That's awesome, thanks! I'm normally not afraid to break things in order to learn something, but for right now I'm tired of having to fix it when I break it lol. Tried what you suggested. First i uninstalled the mod and all patches, then reinstalled the mod, NMC patch and then AWOP patch. Renamed to ComboEdition, no problems so far. If you don't mind explaining, does having both .esm just leave both sets of doors (the ones conflicting with AWOP and the moved ones)? Or would it be more like the game is creating two separate entities for ALL entries? Don't think this one is yours, but I've seen it before where two doors are stacked. I had to TCL off to go to back side of door to get in lol. I think it was Russel's quest and AWOP... Edited April 1, 2014 by thedevillives
