Calvin and Hobbes were a newspaper comic strip before they were gathered into the various books and treasury collections. So, I'd say they quailify as a comic. As for me, I like:Petshop of Horrors (manga)Oh My Goddess! (manga)Fullmetal Alchemist (yet another manga)SpidergirlSupermanThe EscapistCalvin and HobbesBone And some others that I can't think of right now. Switch Posted January 26, 2006 Share Posted January 26, 2006 Yup. It's based off the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. Like Xenosaga is based off the anime (I think? I'm not sure since it's not sold in the UK). As for comics, I went through a phase of reading X-Men and Spiderman about 4-5 years ago but in the end I lost interest.
