Not sure why that would cause OBMM to crash. I think you dont have to push the "Activate" button to enable anything except .omod, just clicking the check box next to the mod should do. May or may not have something to do with it. Really hope you get your game working  I know the feeling. Also try using the Oblivion Launcher screen and click the "data" button. You can manage mods from that to I think but Ive never used it. Good Luck!

quarls is in the omod form. i just need to somehow extract the data folder. i do have alot of mod but i cant really check. i think i have about 50 or so mods. is there another program i can use to extract omod mods?

double clicking on the omod should activate it and when using OBMM alwyas activate via the activate botton,do not just check it!

If it's an actual problem with OBMM and not just a single OMOD, you might want to re-install .NET Framework. That has long been the solution to many problems related to OBMM not working.

I almost hesitated to suggest this when I saw the issue was related to Qarl tex pack since many users do not have the RAM to create/extract that mod. IF the problem is not related to .NET Framework, you might be able to right-click on the OMOD name and "Convert to Archive" and then install the archive manually.

I've never owned a video card capable of handling those high-res tex packs so I cannot give any actual usage advice. Sorry.
