OHWceta
Seeing as there's sections for "What Mod is this" and "Commonly requested Mods" in the Fallout Mod section. I was thinking it might be a great idea to create an official thread for "Is it Possible?" because of the large ammounts of threads asking similar questions about whether or not a certain feature is able to be added to a mod (such as walking on the water, or a jetpack)

LHammonds
These kinds of threads typically start off life by the "inventor" or someone interested in such a topic (such as yourself). As the thread gains popularity and feedback and is refined over time, it can then be picked up as being necessary to be pinned or turned into a Nexus article and noted in an existing pinned / aggregate topic. It could be formatted in the form of a FAQ with very quick answers of Yes, No, Unknown and then followed up with more detail and reference links. Examples (Oblivion): Is it possible to create a flying dragon? Yes. Link to Dragon Mount. Is it possible to create weapons like flails? Yes and No. You can create an animated weapon but it will not behave naturally using the Havok engine and the animations cannot be precisely controlled. Link to Animated Flails mod. Is it possible to create new weapon types like a shotgun? No. The game engine hard-codes the weapon types. You would have to replace an existing weapon and animation but new types cannot be added. Reference Links: Gun Mod, Spear Mod, Flying Daggers, Crossbows LHammonds
Rabbit1251
Perhaps I asked my question in the wrong place. I'll sit down and be quiet now. Sorry. Rabbit
OHWceta
The problem is that many users continually refuse to take the time and search for such topics. And suddenly we have a cluttered mass of topics asking the same question over and over again.
