kbobs
I installed the GOTY version to C:\Games as well as the DLC's and GEEK v1.5. The DLC's are in the Falout Data Folder and they are all in C:\Games.I tried to install the Unofficial Patch v1.2.0 and it warned me it could not find the Fallout.ini file. The Fallout.ini is not in My Documents. The Fallout_default is in the Fallout Data Folder.I am just making sure I am installing, editing and tweaking at this point and I have yet to actually play the game.I guess my question is, is this what happens when you install to C:\Games and not C:\Program Files? This doesn't make an sense. There should be a Fallout.ini somewhere?!? A search and a run shows nothing. Argh...any help would be appreciated.

ElijahHouck
Ini file should be in My doc/my games/fallout3 Its not named fallout.ini it's just fallout Thanks. I know it should be there, but that folder is empty.Maybe its as simple as deleting/reinstalling.That should work. And the filename is fallout.ini- the ".ini" being the extension telling that it is a configuration file.
Skotte
Though the extension may be hidden.
ElijahHouck
Though the extension may be hidden.True, but if he needs to do a computer-wide search to see if the file was moved, "fallout.ini" is going to give you more specific results than simply typing "fallout." kbobs
No one seems to have actually read my post or at least remembered what you read.If you go back and read it you will see I did do a system wide search with no results and that My Documents Folder was empty.Anyway, thanks for at least responding. phoneyLogic
You need to run the game once by using the default Fallout Launcher. With the first run the Fallout.ini will be created in your my games folder as stated.
