DrakeStryker
In Skyrim, we learn a moderate amount about dragons. Namely, they can destroy an entire town (see: Skyrim's tutorial quest), heavily armored, all of their limbs are deadly, and their very Voice can tear men apart. We learn that they're slavers that once ruled over the world, that the Dragon Cultists held the most sway over the servant races, and that the Dragonborn is the only thing that can kill them. But other than that, what do we really know ABOUT them? I'd like a quest that allows people to understand the culture of the dragons, their psychology and perhaps even give more insight to the Dragonborn themselves. I'm thinking of a fairly big Lore-Friendly questline that helps the Dragonborn delve into the more Dovah part of themselves. After all, if you can opt to spare a couple dragons in the main quest line, why can't you pursue your more draconic instincts? Part of what I'm imagining for this includes a new way of "soul-trapping" similar to the Conjuration spells, although instead of using the souls to enchant items or improve Shouts, they would give you custom spells that would grant you Draconic abilities. This may or may not require adding a new Spell tree; I'm uncertain. The point of this questline would be to make a more specific choice about the type of Dragonborn a player would want to play - either one that learns how to combat Dragons more effectively or how to emulate more Draconic powers, perhaps even fundamentally transforming themselves in the process. Another thing I'm thinking of as a part of this questline would be deciding whether to prevent - or lead - a rebellion a Dragon Cult army (led by Dragon Priests) against the Holds of Skyrim. I would be willing to help with ideas and writing for this, as well as voice acting, but I have no experience in actually creating mods, which is why I'm posting this here. WilliamImm
That actually sounds very novel and interesting. I don't think I have the time to do it, but I will keep track of it.
