Naw, it's a pretty horrible song lol. G Gundam is cheesy and so stereotypical too, but it makes me laugh, especially in Japanese :laugh: Most of the other Gundam songs are pretty good. I like Escaflowne's soundtrack too ^_^ That show was pretty cool. Always liked the mecha animes.

Newbs :P This one is far better than Twilight of the Thunder God...I liked that one too but this one is pretty awesome. Been around for nearly 20 years and they still produce awesome death metal \m/ If only In Flames still did that...I'm not going to even get their new album...the title of it shows how lame they got "Sounds of a Playground Fading" :pinch: Sad....

In my opinion, Amon Amarth is one of few bands where the new stuff sounds just as awesome as the old, that's partly why their my favorite band!

 

 

I also compared an old Metallica song to a new Metallica song: Disposable Heroes vs. I Disappear:

 

Disposable Heroes: One of my favorite Metallica songs, truly awesome!

I Disappear: An OK song but NOTHING like old Metallica.

 

So I'm one of those people that agrees old Metallica wins.

Indeed...but I was VERY surprised by Death Magnetic. It was actually pretty good. But still...80s-early 90s Metallica rules all ;)

ahhh back when In Flames was so awesome \m/ Most of their albums past 2000 are just horrible...Come Clarity wasn't so bad...but wow...IMO, they sold out hardcore.

Yeah, it's a shame, but Dark Tranquility is better anyway.

Oh yeah, DT is the best...they are on my gotta see live list. They had a few flops themselves...that man singing clean is just plain scary :blink: I wish Kalmah would play live here...but they got some beef against the U.S....which is fine with me...they don't want to be warped by us :P They tour up in Canada...but even from Wisconsin that's a long drive.
