can't say too much about Catamenia's new album...what a pile of trash...*sigh* :( Gone from Melodic Black Metal to crap....so not brutal :( Didn't have much hopes for them really...their awesome vocalist shattered his vocal chords and they got some sad excuse for a growler/screamer now.

hehe by "translate" I mean turning the growling English into English lol :P They are a very good band, their guitar work is amazing :) All the lyrics for 12 Gauge are up on http://www.metal-archives.com/ now :D That song has such a beautiful rhythm to it too, and their guitars have gotten better over the years. Ahh Metal from Finland is so awesome :D

Those are some of the coolest lyrics I've ever heard. I'm listening to it right now on Youtube. Can't say I like the singing style much, but it's still a pretty cool song.

In this video there are two songs together, the first is called Finnis Fatalis Spei (the piano instrumental at the beginning) and the second one is Declaration.

But before the second song starts, you can hear the line "TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL". o_O

They put the line from Leonidas, a character from the movie 300, which is one of my favourite movies, into the intro of their album...

It's at about 1:50..

Haha, yeah, it's pretty harsh sounding...my favourite ;) That's my favourite song off the whole album right now :D

 

Catamenia's earlier work is like that too, very harsh vocals. That's about as far as I'll go in the vocal style, it just gets crazy after that :P Behemoth, for example, scares the crap out of me :blink: and that grindcore stuff, holy cow...
