M48A5
So then the biggest problem is the installation order. Can this be fixed manually as easily as going into the FO3 folder and changing the order in which the mods are listed? No, that is just a list of the installed files, usually in alphabetical order. You change the load order in your mod manager. If you are having a problem understanding how to do a simple operation like dragging and dropping a file in the mod manager, you need more training in computer operations. Marogthor
That's what I do already. Dragging them and dropping them. It's still freezing, so I'm guessing it's a little beyond that. Though I'll go through FOMM and rearrange the mods accordingly. Edit: So I read up a little more than I had before on the subject and I've got a pretty good grasp on how the load order works and why it's important. However, how would I know which mods go first when they're seemingly unrelated? Does it not matter in that case? M48A5
It is a surprise that the game even starts. First, group all the .esm together. Better yet, download and install B.O.S.S. and it will sort the load order automatically. http://boss-developers.github.io/
Marogthor
Sorry for being a pain. >_< I tried to run boss for FOMM and it said it couldn't locate the master list. I tried checking for an update as it says to, but every time I click that, FOMM crashes.
BlackRampage
BOSS's masterlist is no longer being updated (due to BOSS being supplanted by LOOT). Just download the standalone version M48A5 linked. Re-post your load order once you've had BOSS re-sort your load order.
Marogthor
Since it won't let me copy and paste onto here, I just put the new load order on a google doc so you guys can see. tinyurl.com/FOMMload
M48A5
That load order is a little disorganized. First thing you should do is group all the same mod .esp together and in the same order as the Fallout3 DLC. Once you have that done, get your compatibility patches loaded after the last mod they are patching. For some reason you have two Craft.esm, there should only be one.
