roquefort
Don't know if this has been noted elswhere, but the new version came out on 22 Oct. Anyone tried it yet? http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx
Monolithic0117
Works fine, no major changes. What's the point of this thread?
roquefort
Sorry for the slow reply. Haven't there been problems with newer Nvidia drivers and Fallout? I just wondered if there was any feedback on the new ATI control suite. That was the point. In any event, it's no good to me since I subsequently noticed that my current card falls into the `legacy' category they've recently introduced, and which the new Catalyst doesn't support. Soon be time to upgrade I suppose.
LHammonds
My card falls into the legacy category as well. But I do not understand why you hesitate to update your drivers. If there is a problem, you can revert back to your old drivers. The only time I updated my drivers was primarily when a new game or application required it but that is a rare occasion. The most recent requirement was the installation of CrazyBump (a normal map utility) LHammonds
