coreplaya
 Dark Ages of The Earth Hystory could hide or reveal maybe more than the human kind shall deal with and accept ... Past unknown times, if they have been, would let really small traces behind... And search for iy is a real quest...Search....Imagine, after a hard week, you and your doggy would enjoy in a nice country side place and...walkin' a little by the river you would find a little cave, hidden behind small water fall...here in front of you is a Big 20" Pale green blue egg guarded by a wounded blue Humanoid Elfic Female ..."i' m diyng ..take him and do what is to be done... "what would you do...well... you shall take the egg and deal with this 'Unreal' situation... then i let you enjoy what it could be to think having a Dragon pet*. So many things have been ripped off by Humans ... and still are every day ... Dragons if they where...are no longer...but in "mythologics" and the point is that many different cultures have tales , myths and stories with "Dragons" that are strangely matching in time and space ... (Bretons,Celtics,Mayas,Incas,Chinese,japanese,...list's exhaustive)Spacenefs?Dragons?Collective Hallucinations borned from belief ?many Book's to read on this subject...look out! And avoid fanatism and Illusion at all price! only trust facts! Look ...The way things are is that, if you don't look for...you'll never have a chance to know about.BuT know what? ... here is the question!!! Back to our lil story then your buddy drag's 4 years old now... and tired to stay put in garden !!!Always nice to all of your friends...today is the day off!!!you both are so happy to meet with other "nice humans" (that did not actually changed their point of view to a new 'kind' of creature)...Dilemma...Even if you protect him a Lizardlike Firing Arse race even as cool as he is (remember spyro  ) would not stay alive as long as a bunny hop ..." Look there... gotcha Headshot!" hmm nice skin...!think about! Myths and legends are a pale or amplificated reflections of Human kind after all...but in some cases it's too much of a coincidence...Thenwhat('ll) maybe was(be?!) a mythical Era on Earth?.so many long blank periods of time then 250.000 years from Primate to Human that are to everybody emptyless of all kind of evolution...there was a big thing and everything shutted down ...go to bed now! that seems nonsense to think that no races even now that we know so much more about life's conditions even could have not adaptate themselves 'just' to survive a lil' more and maybe much longer in a different/hostile situation We think knowing much... of what could this planet offers...yep ,gazes and petrol stuffs but not even ours Oceans...Same Same to Aliens ,some maybe came...but...Human Breaks or kills whatever he can't deal with since the planet is circle! wolves are a real real sad sample... :( have a nice day Some say's : Life is Dragon Dream... Let's hope,Then than the Great Dragon dreams at us ... ;D *In the name of Ishtar !!! Dragons are no pets!!!They sometimes are asserved to some powerful Mages /or Enchantments,or Ally to a cause that also serves them!!! but never've and never be a pet to any human!!! In human modern Fantasy he's more like a (cf upper) Big Lizardlike red ones or gentle Pink ones, in most of cases *IdIoTs* ...Magical and intelligence skills are primordial to a Real Old Dragon ,Mature,10000kg and 900 years old, eatin' rangers and dwarven barbecues every day... no more split fire at your holy paladinic frosty shield for 'em 'kof' but will mystify and abuse/control you as soon as you touch his Hidden Rocky Lair Big door that leads to a hudge subterreanLake with a gold island uh? you prefer a manor ok!...roll dices.. Deleted54170User
A dragon instead of a horse would be interesting. Since Oblivion seems void of Levitation for Mages I would not mind seeing the ridable dragons for Battlemages. The Pumaman had quite a good deal of dragon plugins for MORROWIND. I could see it now: Living in cliff dwellings and launching attacks when hoards of Ogre appear from Lord Malacaths command. Or battle against Tunnel living Goblins who, for some reason, join forces with each other to attack the Imperials to try and stop the Kings Amulet from returning to the future Empirer. The dragons off the Cliff south east of Layawin, you know the place where your character walks up against invisible wall and a message says, "You can't go any further. Turn around and go back." just as you think you are about to win against that troll that has backed you into it and you had to start over at the point just before you almost beat his furry hair off. Dragons could be called to aide the poor villagers who cannot fight for themselves. Yeah! I would like a dragon to ride over the Orrery and cross from Cheydinhal to Skingrad in a few flaps of the hugh wings. Am I being to melodramic? Excuse me, I just would like a big scaily bird whose beak could rip that Orge a new one that kicked my little characters derrier into the ground so many times before he had the strength to fight one on one with the Ka jHite on the road to Chorrol. I had to take side trips through the dangerous meadows and run with deer and pick edible plants for the most of that first part of the game. Judas_Grace
I thought that dragons of tamriel have been viped out, extinct! If remember corrrectly dragons are nothing else but myth in Morrowind and Oblivion. I am sure that i found dragon bone armor somewhere Morrowind so they at least have existed.

No, they're not extinct, they just don't live in Morrowind because of the cliffracers who eat up all the food. They live in secluded areas, like mountainous regions. Rhydderch Hael
No dragon depicted in any game is truly menacing unless it's sporting a big, honkin' bottle of ketchup in its hand.
