yeah thats kinda what i was thinking that kinda sucks. my brother just gave me his disk for pc. but i've already beat the game 10-fold on xbox. so i figured i'd see what kind of mods the game had...when there is extra i might buy it. Idk why it'd wouldn't update just from this disk....but then again soemtimes it tells me the disk is corrupt and i have to fight with it anyway....oh well thanks.

IMO, your best bet in that case is to pick up the Game of the Year Edition. It's the most cost-effective way to get both vanilla & Shivering Isles, plus comes with Knights of the Nine, and it's already patched. When I replaced my D2D versions, that's what I did, and found it for sale online for $25 US. Was totally worth the investment to have good copies on disc, have SI, and never have to worry about patching.

Shivering Isles alone will give you many more hours of new content, and you can also check out some of the big quest mods. The Lost Spires is definitely my favorite in that category.

... Wtf!

There's such thing as a Oblivion Construction Set wiki!? Why have you forsaken me, Google.co.th !?

I'm making sure I use Google.com from now on...

Anyway, I learned from making OVER 9000 mistakes in the CS. Just the same as how in Oblivion I make a bunch of new characters at the start each and every time.
